BLEU COUR

Founded in Quito, Ecuador by sisters Stephanie and Cristina Carrillo, BLEU COUR was born from a desire to create fashion with purpose. Having grown up surrounded by the textile industry, the sisters saw an opportunity to rethink one of fashion's most recognizable fabrics—not as a basic, but as a medium for creativity, craftsmanship, and storytelling.

Rather than discarding leftover denim, BLEU COUR transforms reclaimed scraps into distinctive garments using techniques like patchwork and laser cutting. The brand also incorporates lower-impact materials, including Tencel, Lyocell, and recycled cotton, creating collections that balance thoughtful design with a more conscious approach to production.

BLEU COUR challenges the idea that denim belongs only in jeans. Dresses, skirts, tops, matching sets, and tailored separates showcase the fabric's versatility through refined silhouettes and unexpected construction—proving denim can be just as elevated as it is timeless.

Beyond the garments themselves, BLEU COUR is built on values of transparency and craftsmanship. The brand embraces traceability by recognizing the designers, seamstresses, and makers behind every collection, celebrating fashion as a collaborative process.

The brand's debut collection, Ocean Vibes, introduced its commitment to upcycling by transforming reclaimed denim into pieces inspired by ocean conservation and more thoughtful consumption. Building on that foundation, the collection Latido, meaning heartbeat, celebrates inclusivity and individuality, embracing different body types, ages, and backgrounds through designs that encourage women to express themselves with confidence.
